I'm not going to train you all the way.
Let's just get that out there. I'm not in a position to take on a full-time apprentice right now, and I refuse to pretend otherwise just to fill a spot. If your goal is to become a piercer from scratch, I genuinely wish you all the luck — and if I can help you find a studio to apprentice at or give you some feedback, I will. But this isn't that.
What this is, is something I genuinely needed and couldn't find when I was starting out.

I did it the wrong way.
I couldn't find a single apprenticeship in Europe. Not one. I wanted this badly enough that I did a 3-day crash course and somehow ended up as a head piercer. Absolutely ridiculous. I was terrified every single day. So I did what anyone desperate enough does — I reached out to everyone I could find and hoped someone would actually respond.
After a month I drove to Essex to go over everything with a piercer there in another 5-day crash course. With my car on the wrong side of the road through the middle of London, I heard about UK APP, bought a ticket on the spot, and went straight there after.
That conference was a turning point. Five months into my career, I absorbed every class, talked to every piercer, met all the jewellers and brands — and that was the start of LPR as you know it. I still had a very long way to go. Let's be honest: I'm basically a self-taught piercer. But I got there.
The reason I'm doing this is that there were multiple moments in those early years where I would have done anything to have a reputable piercer answer my questions without judging me or telling me to "just find a decent apprenticeship." Those are rare. And if you find one, the chance it's even in a decent studio — not even a good one, just decent — is even rarer.

I'm not trying to make this a money-making thing. But I do close my schedule for you, and I still have to pay my bills. So I charge what I'd charge a client for a piercing with the most affordable jewellery option — nothing more than that.
You get an invoice. It's a business expense. Done.
Session rate
Equivalent to a standard piercing appointment with entry-level jewellery. In studio or live call — whatever works for both of us. You'll receive a proper invoice.
I don't have every answer.
I can help with probably 95% of what you're going to ask. The other 5%? I'm still learning too. As a piercer you never stop — techniques evolve, new research comes out, standards shift. If I don't know something, I'll tell you. And I'll probably help you find who does.
What I can guarantee is that I'm not going to give you a rehearsed answer, talk down to you, or make you feel stupid for asking. I've been in your position. The questions you have are valid. You just need someone to actually answer them.
